    MMF2 - Getting Activex hwnd

I'm using the activex object to load a spreadsheet activex. I need to get the hwnd of the spreadsheet.

Any extension that will do this?

Re: MMF2 - Getting Activex hwnd

Am I the first to want to select an object by its windows handle?

In this case the activex spreadsheet is displayed but I need to get spread.hWnd.

I'm trying to read data from the sheet to a buffer and back into another sheet. The .hWnd is critical to do this.

I tried that but I don'e see how you can get the hWnd of the Activex with the Kernel Object.

Re: MMF2 - Getting Activex hwnd

I did a search on the forum but I only see reference to getting the hWnd when programming an extension. Anyone know of an extension that allows this or an activex?

    I need asap.

Could someone to an extension around Microsoft's SPY++ or know of a similar product to help get the handle???

Just pass it as a number. That's all they are anyway.

    You don't need a extension.
    Just use the dll object.
    Here is a example.
