Possible ?

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if you can create an online game with MMF2. The kind of game would be a text based RPG like Mafia Wars or Mobsters. If this is possible, could some of you experts guide me to a tutorial ? If not possible i apologise for wasting your time

Hello. It definitely is possible.
There currently is an extension for that in development: OINC.

It is usable currently, but because of some problems in the past, it might be limited in some ways.

You should probably check out the video tutorials.
Mind you, it's not easy to create an online game. A text based RPG might be feasible for you, but a MMORPG like World of Warcraft would require years of experience and a lot of effort put into it. If you haven't even created a nice offline game yet, you might consider doing that first. Never start with online games.

Thanks a lot Lookie ! I'm just going for the Mafia Wars clone, so it should be possible, right ?

I'll go take a look at the video tutorials...I will undoubtably be left with a lot of question s
