Active System Box + Effect

Is it possible to have (ink) effects applied to the Active System Box in the next update?

That would make life awesome.

It has to be possible. I think the reason Yves didn't add this was because he thought it was useless or something like that. I agree it would be useful.

It's just that I want to use it to create an additive layer that can change colour. (And I don't want to use layers because it somehow makes HWA slow, or so it seems)

I think I'll try an active picture with a stretched, single, white pixel image and I should be able to play with the rgb coefficient on that to create the same kind of effect.

Cant you just use a solid colour active?

Yeah, you could resize it... use the same RGB thing to set what colour you wanted it.
