Quick Backdrops and picture editor question

If i create a quick backdrop, set it to motif and open the picture editor then click restore down - so that the picture editor is in a smaller window with the fram editor underneath it is there a way to make changes in the picture editor and tell the frame editor to update without having to continually click OK and open and close the picture editor to see what a motif looks like tiled?

No, there is no "apply / update" button in the picture editor, sorry...
