XP 64 here, MMF2 works fine on it too.

Though I'll be upgrading to 7 soon, my disks arrived today.

Im guessing though that MMF right now is 32 bit and runs as 32 bit or does it install as 64 bit if you have it?

Im guessing if it is 32 bit a 64 bit version with the option to compile to 64 bit exe's is planned for sometime in the future?

If you missed vista then I'd recommend upgrading from xp to windows 7 Just for the boot time alone

It is 32-bit. Some 32-bit apps won't run on 64-bit, mostly due to copy-protection failing. MMF2 runs fine.

Not that I know of. 64-bit .exes are only needed if one program needs to handle over 2GB of ram. This would be rare for a game. It could happen in the distant future.

This is what i was thinking that it would be 32 bit.

Ok well it would be a good idea at some point in the future i think. Maybe with HWA/3D extensions/complex apps it would work well if you wanted to have complex things it would speed these up a lot. Im guessing a 64 bit version will be on the way in the future though maybe with MMF3/MMF3D etc if not for the current version.

    Thanks for the information
