    detect multiple keyboards?

Hi, I am making a sort of voting engine that may be used with some USB numeric keypads attached to a single computer. However all these keypads are "seen" by windows as a single one... Is there a way to know the keyboard used when a key is pressed?

    Thank you!

    Re: detect multiple keyboards?

To be honest I don't think that it's possible, for example in my case there are even problems in MMF to detect several pressed keys from one keyboard which is fault of keyboard model. So after connecting several different keyboards it would be imho total disaster.

    Re: detect multiple keyboards?

I found at sourceforge a substitute driver that is capable to detect each keypad as a single joystick (magickeypad.sourceforge.net). Too bad for me that it is too unstable on Vista machines (was designed for XP). Windows knows that there are several keypads attached to the machine since they appear at the device manager...
