    Scrolling / Platform Question

I've created a quick backdrop and made it's width very large, centered the screen on an active object which I've given platform movement, and created several background objects and set them as platforms. I've set the virtual width to a value as large as the quick backdrop.

Everything works great, the active object falls and stops on the platform, and moves back and forth. The frame scrolls keeping the active object in the middle of the screen. However, as I move to the right, the active object drops off of the platform when it gets to an x coordinate of around 700. The frame size is 640 x 480 and I am using MMF 2. Why is the object dropping through the platform at this point?

    Re: Scrolling / Platform Question

    Hi,

Maybe i am wrong but the width of the frame should be the play ground size.

I always use the virtual size for the ability to scroll, but the size of the frame is what allows you to do collision and behavior.

the size for scrolling is the size of the frame (width or height depend the direction of the movement) plus 10% more-less (well that what i have seen during my work).
