Check if connected to internet?

Can you check if a user is connected to the internet? A file is downloaded if he clicks on a button but if his connection is not active (he is not connected) the screen freezes (download object).

Therefore, I need an action to check if the user is connected before trying to download the file.

Edit: I should point out that the object takes Window's word on if it is connected to the Internet or not. I'm not sure this is always correct, so make sure there is a manual override.
