    Re: MMF2 IDE Crash Bug

I've had an ancient error that caused my project to glitch up with some memory corruption or whatnot which would make a "Bad Object" in an otherwise flawless engine- the issue seemed linked to the built-in "Ball Movement". However, since I've changed that, I haven't seen the glitch at all so I haven't been able to pin down the cause. If I can, I'll let you know.

I believe it to be something involving ball movement & copying events or objects or something, but I can't tell for sure. No issues using soft-coded custom movements ofc

Also notable is the fact that objects that are in folders aren't deleted from a project when they are deleted in frame.
I cannot reproduce this issue, could you tell me exactly how to do?

Yves when you say you fixed it do you mean just the original bug? Did you fix any of the things here? -

Well I was deleting about 40 objects at once. Some of which were in one folder and some were in another. Some of the objects were removed from the folder, but some were left behind, and when I tried moving them out of the folder some disappeared from the project, but others stayed. Then when I tried deleting the empty folder mmf crashed. I didn't try it again though.

To fix this I just moved the objects out of the folder one at a time and deleted them one at a time, and then everything worked!

No, I didn't, I fixed the crash only. Maybe later, no time right now.

Ok thats cool i know there is a lot happening right now but it's good to know it's maybe on the to do list for some point, thanks.

I think this could be a very powerful feature with sub folders also but it's got glitches right now like mentioned. The problems make me want to avoid using them right now but i hope this chages as it's great to have organized projects.
