    Build in options

Just easy question why some build in options aren't available for all builds? More precisely I just must use set position of sample, but it isn't supported in Java Web Applet. So what I have to modify sound file and recode events to make it working?

Also Playing OGG file isn't working for me in Java Internet applet.

    BTW

    Just 2 other things:

1st how open URL after ending Java Applet?

2nd the error log book during making a file in different type is awesome concept and works great - thanks for it!

    Re: Build in options

Different runtimes have different limitations - some of the ones you've seen could be because the Java runtime is still, after all, in beta and still has features yet to be completed.

It's also possible that some runtimes just don't or can't efficiently support some actions. I know from working with it that the Java media framework is fairly hideous, so I'm not sure if it supports arbitrarily setting the position of a sample at all.

When you save to Java mobile MMF2 converts any sounds from your application into mobile compatible .wav, am I right? May MMF2 do the same when you save to Java internet applet/standalone Java application? This way we didn't have to change each sound files (for example .ogg).

    Re: Build in options

Tfu sorry for my English in previous post but I write it on my mobile.

Czatnar I'm saying that when I compile Java applet with Ogg sound file it isn't playing at all. It is about 1 meg after conversion from 17 meg wav...

Yes, I understand, I've this problem, too. My post was just a suggestion for MMF2, it might be the solution, I think.

    Re: Build in options

Sorry, my English isn't the best...
By the way, is it possible to convert sound files automatically to the proper .wav file when building Java? What does Clicteam think?

@Fanotherpg: Yes, currently you have to convert your .ogg files into .wav files manually to get it work (as I can remember, 16bit 44100Hz).
