Guitar Hero Game

I am currently trying to make a guitar hero game. Every thing is working out great but I was wondering if there was an easier way to have the notes come in on the right time. I would always have to guess where it goes and then test the game and then repeat that proccess for the whole song. This has become time consuming and very annoying.

In first Klikdisc issue there was quite nice example of GH game made in guitar hero with notes editor. Maybe check that one.
