    saving players last known position

    i am looking to save the position of the player e.g player dies lives left greater than zero then reload position.
    im pretty new to mmf so please be patient if this has been covered before.

    What you have to do in one event, when the character dies, respawn a new character at the X,Y where the character died.

    To "save" a character's X,Y maybe use an INI or array to save the death place X,Y.

    your very helpful.
    i added a dissapering anim.

    new condition anim dissapering has finished create new character at x,y position.

    problem is it keeps on doing it even if there are no lives left i just cant work it out.

    i need some way to check the lives left and the respawn of the new charcter

    ok i got it but now if the player picks up any keys and respawned he wont pick up any more keys aaaaaah
    i must be driving you crazy no sooner do i find a problem and fix it i find another.
    im realy sorry to keep bothering you

    Not a problem. Place your mfa file in the File Archives so that other members might also have a look and trouble shoot the file.
