    Rotation From A Different Point

    Hi,

Okay, I have an object which needs to rotate at a specific point in the center of the object and I need it to shoot an object from the front of that object, the problem is that, I need the action point and the hot spot to be in different locations for this to work. Any ideas on how I could get this working?

    -Thanks, Variant

You can change the position of the action point and hotspot separately. In the active object editor window, pressing "H" will allow you to edit the hotspot location and pressing "Q" will allow you to edit the action point location.

It doesn't look "correct" if you do it like that. It looks like the object is rotating from a different position. Try it.

The object will rotate around the hotspot, and shoot from the action point. All you have to do is put them in the right places.
