    Its fairly simple,

Find the smtp of your mail server, connect to it, send the email.

If you reply with the name of your email server I'll make you an example.

    Here

I don't have yahoo or hot mail, so i had to set it for Gmail.. but it should be a matter of changing the server.

I hope you can workout what you need, good luck.

I believe yahoo & hotmail will only work if you the paid account. Free yahoo & hotmail do not allow use for email clients.

I would double check to make sure if their policy has changed.

In my opinion, the e-mail object is not something you want to use, unless you're developing an internal program, and even then its usefulness is limited.

If you want to allow users to send e-mails to you, then instead of using the e-mail object, use one of the objects that can communicate with http.

Perhaps someone could make an example how to make that?

There are tutorials. Search for them. Live Receiver is probably the easiest extension to use for this purpose:

Start Download (POST) -> "http://www.site.com/emailscript.php" -> "Your string with parsing tokens"

For the MMF side, it's as easy as that. You'll need a script on the server to receive the information, and send it to you / log it. This too is something you will have to search for. It's futile for me to explain it here as anyone who would benefit from it is already educated enough to be able to search how to do it on their own, and anyone who isn't educated enough will simply stare, blink, and move on.

Re: How do I use the E-mail object?

The Get Object has replaced Live Reciever. It is no longer supported, nor can it be downloaded anymore.
