Java Mobile - Not authorized to access this API?

Whenever I add any sounds to my java mobile apps I get this error message when I try to run it:

"the application is not authorized to access this API"

If I remove the sounds it works fine.

So, does this mean I need to sign it or something, or is it specific to each phone?

    I'm using a LG Rumor 2

Also, does java mobile support midi?

    Thanks!

    Java support Midi.
The sound problem must come from the fact that your mobile does not support WAV files, and reports an error. We should implement MP3 in the Mobile runtime, but this would be a paying option.

I guess Ogg is not doable? Also there was this another post about modules..now that would be great on mobile, but I suppose there are some challenges as well.

Midi is working nicely, though, and is very file size efficient, but obviously mp3/ogg/mods would provide far better quality (mods also small file size).

hmm, midi didn't work for me either.

It gave me the same error, and I tested this on an app with just midi music. =(

The paying option, Is that a one off payment? I'd be okay with that.

    Hmm, me too.

Although my original question wasn't answered properly.

Why isn't midi working for me if it's supported by java mobile. Do I need to sign the app for that?
