    MMF Palettes

I know you can choose from the 16 million colors to 256 via the Graphic Mode option in MMF2. However, is it possible to make a palette based around the NES palette?

Here's a link of the palette I want to use:

What you can do is make an object in PSP or some other paint program. Color it with squares with the colors you want. Put it on the clipboard and paste it as an active object in the MMF animation editor and then place it outside your frame. Then when you need the colors just edit the object and select your color.

I know this is a long way of doing it, but it works. I do not know of another way.

    Re: MMF Palettes

Can't you just make it in MMF2 format and choose it in the app properties?
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

Save the picture as an 8-bit (256-colour) PNG file - I tested doing it on Paint.NET but other image editors will probably work as well. Then go to a frame's properties, click the "Edit" button under "Palette", and load the file using "Import" from there.

    Re: MMF Palettes

Will that automatically adjust the colors within the frame?

You should test it for your self.

    Re: MMF Palettes

I have. The palette does not automatically update. According to the help file, if the game is run on a 256 color machine, the game will revert to using the palette specified in the frame options.

Also, some tweaking is required before the colors come out exactly how I need them to. Saving as a 256 color image changes the RGB values of the colors.
