Boxed options and checking if a program is running

Hi Guys, I have two questions if anyone can point me in the right direction.

1/. How would I go about creating boxes around options kind of like the one's in this screenshot ("Lighting Shadows", "Visuals"...)?

2/. How do I check if a certain program is running (the program can be run from the app I'm creating [as well as running the program first then the app] but I want to make sure that multiple copies of the program are not running.)?

Any help would be appreciated?

    1. buttons and container(or just backdrops)

    2. If you have developer there is an object called the process object, if you have standard you will need to get creative, perhaps using a combination of the pipe object and the 'tasklist' CMD command.

If you need examples of either, ill be happy to help when i get home today.

    buttons and container
Is that an separate object, or part of an object? I would like this border to be dynamic so I could just resize it to fit the option panel it's around, if that's possible.

I don't have developer, just Standard.

Examples would be great. Thank you very much SEELE.

I think the Active and Background System Box objects do what you want!

I've been playing around with those and while I can get the rectangle, how do I get the text across the top-left?

Re: Boxed options and checking if a program is running

Ahh, of course! Just move the text, excellent! Thank you very much Stephen.

Edit: Ahh, you've used an image as the box, I wanted to have that automatic as there will be different box sizes and they would have to be retouched if I moved an option. Thanks for the effort but are there any other ways?
