    Request: Network Object

I wonder if anyone would be so kind as to create an object that can retrieve basic network information, eg IP address, gateway etc - possibly a ping command?

Bascially what 'ping' and 'ipconfig' do in windows XP.

I can't seem to find anything that can do this yet?

    Thank you!
    Liam

Well, you cauld use the pipe object to pipe command prompt (cmd.exe) then just use "ipconfig" and "ping" in that.

    Would you like an example?

Or you could use a supported object such as the console object.

Ahh okay, I know you can execute the commands - but how do you then retrieve that?

For example say I wanted to set a global string as the IP address?
