    "Best Time" System

Hello, I'm trying to create a sort of a "best time" algorithm for my game. So far, I'm using a test frame using a bunch of counters so I can finally implement it into the larger part of my game. I seem to always be getting closer, but never quite there. The "timer" is using only minutes and seconds. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can go about this?

Use the TimeX extension. It has 'stopwatches' that you can start and stop whenever you want. It measures time very accurately in milliseconds.
