[Request] Vector Object with surface tension

There is a PSP game called LocoRoco where the objects act like Jell-O or water balloons. I would love to see an extension that did this.

    It would need to have...
    1. variable surface tension hard to soft (%)
    2. interact with the hardness/softness of other like objects and other vector or active objects.
    3. respond to gravity - for example, when it lands or hits another object it should squash and jiggle like jell-o.

Here are Videos of LocoRoco 2....

Well i was animating points with the Active Shape Object recently however it was glitching, im guessing if the errors were fixed you could do this using maths. Maybe Retriever2 who also makes the XLua could add some sort of way to use the XLua Object or Box2D to easily do this.

The way i got things animating was simply parsing values to a string of points so im sure you could do it now although it needs a fix for the glitches. There was also a Vectorial Shape being made but theres been no news of it for a long time now so my guess is that has been cancelled.

    Active Shape Object thread -

Could you post an example of the glitching behavior?

In either case, for this a fluid physics simulation is required, not one like Box2D which uses bodies with fixed shapes. I don't think think this is doable unless somebody creates an extension for it.

Well, as far as I know fluid simulation is always based on fixed bodies/particles that are bound together. The original Box2D API also comes with an example that transports a very "gooey" body through a set of gears, conveyer belts etc.
