player upgrade

what im trying to do is player basic has no amour player opens chest player upgraded to player with amour.

player basic has eight direction movement.
--> player basic collides with yellow box upgrade player to player with amour.

player upgraded has custom movement but the collision dection dosnt work.

If i take out the basic player and just run the player with amour it works.

ive been at this all day i give up.

ok i have fixed this another three hrs of work.
could someone please have a look at my new file.

question how to do this the correct way?

Give them both custom movements.

thanks jacob would it be possible to incorp both movements into groups that im using already or do i nedd to keep them seperate?
