Problem with uneven animation speed

I'm having a problem with the animations in mmf2. When i switch the animation of an object from 'stopped' to an animation (i.e. 'walking'), i'm quite certain that mmf sometimes plays the first frame of the animation too fast. Has anyone else noticed this? And how do I fix it?

I have not noticed anything like that. Check things like "max animation speed" and "min animation speed" Also, if this animation is only one frame and its just going back to the "stopped" animation, then make the animation loop.

I've noticed this when a frame's timer base movement and the games FPS is different. Try unchecking timerbase movement or making them the same. Not sure if this really fixes it but seems to do it.

Thanks for the answer! That sounds logical, but how do I make them the same? (I've found out how to uncheck the timer based movement though)
