    Creating fade effect in text

This is probably redundent or very easy but I am stumped on how to creat a fade in effect for a text object. Is there a way to do this without creating a .gif? If its easier to do it with a .gif can anyone point me to something better the Jascs Animator Pro... it cuts my text down to a horrble look.

    Thanks in advance.

Re: Creating fade effect in text

An easy way: Right click on your text, and create an Active object. Then set the fade in and fade out properties on the active.
