    Playing music

I already know how to make music play at the start of a frame, but is there any way to make a song go on for the entire application continuously? Thank you

also what file types does MMF2 support?

    Re: Playing music

A: In the application properties, there is an option to play samples over frames. However this means your music must be played as a sample and not music. Just loop the sample.

B: Just do play sample event and look at the File Type: drop down at the bottom under the filename when you click browse for file.

Record it to a .wav or .ogg file with a converter.

Well, there's ModPlug, which will allow much more than just converting. You can practically make your own music! Anyway, open your mid file and save it as a .it file. MMF2 can play a .it file as a sample, so that's fine.
