Moving Counter as a horiz. bar

I have a scrolling game were the enemy has a counter created above his head showing his health and which follows him when he moves.

This works when the counter is numerical. The enemy walks around with the counter showing, but it doesn't work when I change the counter to display as a horizontal bar.
(Well it sort of shows, just with graphical artefacts.

How could I fix this issue?

Probably an easy question to answer

Try unchecking "Display as background" in the counter's properties. Also change its order to front.

    Unfortunately that didn't help.
It works with numbers and animation, but as soon as I switch it to a horizontal or vertical bar it shows nothing.

Sorry that didn't work. Download your mfa in the file archives so we can take a look.

Make sure that the count is valid and the initial value isn't too high or too low.

Yeah make sure that the max is a reasonable number and that the counter has a value!

Check to make sure the masks aren't covering the bar.

I can confirm that it disappears. I tried different things, with no luck. It is beyond me, due to too much brain leakage. Maybe another forum member can take a look and help out.

Re: Moving Counter as a horiz. bar

Change the maximum value of the counter to a much lower value. It's currently set at something like 9999999 so at the value of 10 the bar would be so small you can't see it. After changing that I could see it fine.
