Climbing animation

Is there someone here who is good to animate?
I need a climbing ladder animation of this character.

I myself am not an animator, but usually what I do is just horizontally flip the object if it isn't symmetrical.

I don't think it's possible to do that with this. If you look at the file, you see that it's from the side. And I need to turn it so he can climb up/down ladders.

It's a very large sprite to animate.

You could probably just do something like Mario's. Since you don't seem to be using many frames of animation anyway.

It will be smaller. I will shrimp the sprite, but maybe I can fix it. I have another similar character with a hammer that have climbing animation, but it has no jumping and falling animation. I think I can combine these two and delete the hammer. It's much easer to do that than create a new animation.
