need help please

Hello all, newbie here!!! Its probably something I am totally missing. My problem is when I add an folder to the directory and then put in the folder I want the install to send it too, it installs the information thats in the folder instead of the just the folder. If that makes sense to anyone. I have unchecked the subdirectories folder but with no luck. I am trying to use the install creator to install to a game. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!! Thanks in advance if you can help me out!!!!

Are you trying to get it to just make a blank folder or something?

No !!! It is actually a racing game that you can create skins for and I was trying to use the install creator to put the skins in the game. Other people have used the program to install tracks into the game. It installs the folder into the game directory, but when i try it, the information inside of the folder is installed instead of just the folder with the information in it.

LOL !!! I know I'm not explaining it right....i have a folder named ...xxx....Inside xxx folder is an folder called textures and a .str file....now when i select xxx folder for the install creator....and then select the directory to send it too.... the creator installs textures and .str file instead of installing my xxx folder. Do I need to change something in the xxx folder so that it will only select that folder to install....instead of it installing the information contained inside of my xxx folder? Awesome program to use but gonna give it up soon !!!

OH! I know what you mean. Put your xxx folder in a yzy folder and set your instal source directory to the yzy one instead. IC doesn't install the folder that the files are in, it installs everything that is IN the folder you pick.
