MMF2 business applications

Hi

New to MMF2 and I am interested in developing database applications for business. The application needs to keep track of clients, add, edit, delete clients, track deadlines and send email notifications when those deadlines arrive, etc.

Can MMF2 be used to create such a program?

Well you certainly could but you'd have to be quite inventive and bring all of MMF2's features together from far-flung extensions. You'd also have to be pretty experienced with the Events editor.

Overall I would have thought Microsoft Access would have been a more obvious tool. It's basically made for doing exactly that. With the "Forms" in Access you could do what you're asking for very effectively - quickly and without any kind of programming.

And if you must make your own, I would recommend using Visual Basic. You can download the express version for free. VB really isn't that hard to learn honestly. I think it would actually be easier to do this in VB.NET than it would with MMF2, but thats just me.
