Weird problem with music

Hello, I'm having some annoying problems with my project as I can't get it play any music... I am trying to make a 2D version of Doom and I use the original midi music in it.

I have the music files in the same directory as the project itself, and in event editor I have "at start of frame" as condition and "Play Music -> E1M1.mid" as the effect for it...

It's really weird because yesterday I actually could hear the music well and I don't recall changing any settings or anything. On top of it, the sounds are working perfectly, so the problem is with the music. I also tried to play music with the "Play music file" but it didn't work either.

I hope someone knows about this! Thanks, and if there is already a thread about this, I just wasn't able to find it.

Check your MIDI volume isn't muted in sound control.

I guess they must be muted because the music won't play even when I start a new project and use different midis than with my project..

The problem this time is that I wasn't able to find any place to control the midi volume xD

Ooops sorry I already found out about it... My midi was indeed muted... It took me some time to realise you meant the computer's sound control, not the MFF2s sound control.. Thanks for helping me out on this

I have no idea why, but on some OSes, some versions of windows media player mute it whenever you open a midi file.
