    Learning MMF2

Thanks to all who answered my earlier post. What I would like to know now is where are the best places to learn how to
use MMF. I bought a few books such as Awesome game Creation, which even though a good book is superficial at best. The forums are great for most questions, but are there any books out there that teach MMF, and the Game Factory. Where are the best places to go to figure out how to do things with
both The Games factory, and MMF.

The best way to learn is by doing! Try starting a small game project with your books as reference, and if you have any questions ask here.

Search through the forums for problems you're having because chances are, people have had that same problem before.

Go through the tutorials up in the Site Links in the sidebar. I've been using Multimedia Fusion for 2 years and still go back to them from time to time.

Also be sure to check out The Daily Click, linked over in the Community Links section in the sidebar. A lot of the "tutorials" covered there are sort of just op-ed pieces, but there actually are some real, in-depth tutorials from time to time. The stuff there tends to be more advanced, though, so I recommend reading through Clickteam's tutorials and browsing through the forums first.

It would be handy to have a Click wiki...

That would indeed be an excellent resource. Learning how to program in fusion is one thing. Learning how to export to formats other than exe, like Java, Mobile Java, Flash, iPhone, XNA, and whatever else comes out, and getting it all to work right, is another matter altogether.

I'm sure that could be explained in a Wiki.

A wiki would be the place for it. Can hardly count on somebody to create a whole bunch of individual tutorials and host it on their own personal site. It's the kind of stuff that needs a whole community going in and sharing their knowledge on how to do these things.

I think there used to be a wiki but it would not work when i found the links to it last time. I think clickteam should definately have one though, and one hosted by them so it stays online always.
