Hi,
Here's a neat little interactive visualisation for you to toy with. Source included, the program may struggle on low-end hardware. HWA is absolutely essential.
If you don't have HWA you can download an .exe file here.



WARNING: Do not use if you suffer from epilepsy or have adverse effects to flickering/pulsing lights.

Hold Left-Mouse button to pause rotation/expansion
Hold Right-Mouse button to erase current Iris.
Move mouse out of window for computer-generated drawing.
Move mouse over window for manual drawing

Be careful not to hypnotise yourself! :-)

Neatarific but the .mfa crashes for me even with HWA.

I expect that it's just pushing your hardware too hard... objects average around the 3000 mark the whole time it's running... not to be taken lightly :-)

It was just a bit of toying around on my part, I suspect many people will report the same problem.
