Just curious, if we have any idea which extensions will be supported for the Flash Exporter? Or any that we should avoid using - as of right now?

That's a very good question, since knowing which extensions are compatible allows us to work on flash projects before the exporter is finished.
A rule of thumb; If the extension is worth it, someone will port it.

The AES Fusion i know is already done, since this was done i think by AquadaSoft possibly others they have made also. No doubt string, counter and the other main ones by clickteam and other extension developers that are often on the forum here.
Remember though that flash would have limitations that the normal version of MMF does not have. Since flash is in general online based it is possible it will get new extensions linking to popular online things like facebook and myspace maybe. Right now though it's not released so the best thing is to wait for clickteam to release more info or a beta.

As a bit of a clue you could look at what supported in Java and might be safe if you stay with those.

I will take another look at the Java supported extensions. Two other nagging questions I have about the Flash exporter:
1) Do we have any idea if transitions will be supported?
2) Will the "High Score" object have online functionality? I think I saw another thread on this...
-It would be super awesome if we could add an online scoreboard with a click and forget. Are there any other sticking points in the Flash exporter we can prepare for early?

1) I believe transitions, whether frame or on objects, isn't supported.
But doing your own custom fade in and fade out frame transitions is pretty easy.
2) The Highscore object will only save scores locally. The GET object will support flash though, allowing you communicate with php pages ect. You will also be able to call javascripts on same page as your flash as you could with vitalize.
I don't think you will se an online highscore sollution from Clickteam to begin with. But with the creativeness of the community I'm sure we will see some tutorials on this.
Also once the Flash SDK is released, extension developers could take it upon themselves to add this.

GameDreamsX has a very good case here. It would be greatly appriciated if Clickteam gave some guidelines on which extensions to use. Is it safe to use the Vitalized ones? Then one could stay away from those extensions that are not to be ported.

Wait, François said the Flash SDK would not be an open SDK, but sent to a small group of extension developers. So, it is going to be public or not?Originally Posted by Burfelt
