    Re: MMF2 Build #249 - Pre-release version

Hmmm, im not sure but i think the installer doesnt like my build. I have the latest build, R248, thats what it says in the "about" menu option. The installer ends before it finds my install saying my version is unknown. My install is not installed in the default directory, but is still in a seperate folder on the root drive of my laptop. I am running windows 7, 64 bit, and the latest build works perfectly and the other patches found my install and the version.

Is this a problem with my install or with the patch program?

Automatic rotations do not work very well in all directions with the Mouse control movement.

Create an active object and make it into a right facing arrow (in the right direction animation). Give it automatic rotation. Give it Mouse control movement and run the game.

Moving the mouse to the right is mostly ok with small and long movements, but you can never seem to get close to horizontal.

Moving the mouse to the left works sometimes with long movements of the mouse, but short movements makes the direction of the active object flick upwards and downwards erratically.

Okay, even with this latest version, the old demo of my game will not function properly in MMF2 #249 (Major glitches - objects that are meant to be destroyed at the start aren't, as a start...). It works fine in 248. Do you want me to send the MFA?

If during building of application we are unable to close MMF - which is alright. But when app is almost build 1/7 end part of a bar - we are able to close it which crash the MMF.

    Re: MMF2 Build #249 - Pre-release version

Im still getting an error with my install of mf2Dev. I am on a laptop with win7 64-bit and my install of mf2 developer r248 is not install to program files(x86) but is installed to a different folder on my c drive at the root of the drive. The file system is ntfs. It tells me "unknown version, please re-install" and i have re-installed it numerous times, to no avail.
I think this may be a bug for 64 bit, or for it looking for my program in the default directory. What could cause this problem?

I also cannot install backgrouynd images object 1.6 because it tells me it cannot find my install. The install was created with clickteam install creator. Could it be that?
