MMF2 and .net Script bombs

Downloaded and installed the .net script object. Opened a frame and tried to add the object. Got error message:

Microsoft .NET Framework
Unhandled exception has occurred in the component in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.

Could not load file or assembly 'ScintillaNet, Version=2.0.3138.25704, Culture=neutral, PublicKey Token=948d6c9751444115 or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Had to use task manager to abort Input screen with then aborted MMF2 application.

Maybe need to update MS .net framework? That way maybe everything will not puke.

Running Windows 7 Home Premium on a new HP Touchsmart 300 PC.
According to Windows Update everything is up-to-date.

I can never get past that either, with the latest stuff in terms of .net framework.

I think the latest is 3.5.

It happend to me too after letting Extension Updater install the object. The problem was however resolved by reinstalling it after downloading the object from Neatwares Extension List.

Ham is right. Run the installer. Don't use the Extension Updater. Problem is that the updater doesnt install the scintilla dlls.

That did the trick. It appears the Extension Updater needs to be updated.

Honestly after years and years we still don't have an acceptable extension repository IMO.
