    Does not know when sample is not playing

    Hello everyone! I'm not sure if this is where I should report bugs. But then again, this may not be a bug!

    Music is not playing: Play music.

    Click on object: Play sound effect and animation.

    Sound effect is not playing: Stop animation.

    When the music is playing, it doesn't seem to know when the sound effect is not playing. They're both samples. It works in MMF2, but not when compiled. Any ideas?

    You are in the FLash forum here. There is no music in Flash. Do you mean with the C++ version of the runtime?

    He said "They're both samples." I assume that that means when he says music, he means a sample.

    Whoops, should have made that more clear. Yes, they are both played as samples and I'm speaking of the flash runtime.

    I am also getting this problem. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

    EDIT: Actually, the problem seems to come when the same condition needs to work after restarting the frame. It works initially when the frame is loaded the first time. But after any subsequent restarts, the sound does not get recognized as finishing. Bug?

    After even more testing, I have found that if I have a looping sample playing when I am checking to see if a different sample has finished playing, the condition does NOT return true.

    It has nothing to do with restarting the frame ^_^
