    problem with clone objects

    hi,

    i am making a fighting-game and i want to be able to create 10 different enemies without making new events for every single one. ive read that you can clone a single object and then make several of em. but when i do this, all the cloned objects react exacly the same as the original one when i for example hit one of em, all gets hit.

    what do i need to do to make em all unique? (they are all also connected to the same health-bar)

    I'm not sure if I will be able to help you out, but Is there any chance you can provide a sample file I'm finding it difficult understanding how you have things setup exactly.

    sure, ill post the file in the "file archive" section in a minute! beware, the events are pretty messy though because i am not good at all these coding-stuff =)

    Not sure if this will help or not but here is an example I put together.

    just click the coloured rectangles to deal them damage

    It's kinda late so I haven't commented it, but just let me know if you have any trouble following it - I may not be able to explain it too well myself but I can probably piont you to some articles that will.

    I hope i could be of some assistance
