Audio problems

Is what this sounds like in MMF2:

I created it in Fruity Loops Studio 8. Exported it to wav, and it sounds like crap. To get the same effect, do this. Download the file. Start MMF2. Create a new event "Always". Under the sound column. Right click, move over to samples -> Play samples. When the option comes up, select browse from file. Find the song. Then hit run. You will an awful noise.

What am I doing wrong? I'm going to try some other formats and report back.

Ahh! There's your issue right there! Always will happen EVERY frame, and thus play the sound over and over and over again! After 32 frames it uses up all 32 sound channels and it will start to glitch up. You should only do "Start of Frame" or "Run this event once" for your condition, and just make the music loop. Or add the condition "Sound sound name is not playing: play sound".
