    Gravity: Directions

    Is it possible to make the gravity on an object be a direction other than down? Like say you have this super cool action hero dude who can walk on ceilings. How would you make it so he could do that?

    Re: Gravity: Directions

    Well then no. You can't change the gravity with that movement. Best hopes is either custom movement or PMO. There are a few examples that come with the Platform Movement Object to get you started. For agrvity all you would have to do is change it. I can't remember if it works sideways though...

    Re: Gravity: Directions

    Custom movement means you set the movement to Static and then manually code a movement by setting the object's position in the events. This allows much more freedom and the ability to fix the bugs that the default movements have.

    PMO = Platform Movement Object.

    Re: Gravity: Directions

    It will be somewhat easier with the Platform Movement Object.

    Re: Gravity: Directions

    The platform movement object doesn't support any other gravity except down, however the platform widget made by nifflas does. I suggest you check it out. To change the gravity you just change the x and y gravity variables of the player. Here is the link.
