    You can tell because the exe runtime is just that.
    A runtime that reads the data that mmf has attached to it.

    That data is your graphics, sounds, and mmf event code.

    The code is interpreted by the runtime, not compiled, so it is possible to tell if an app was made in mmf2 or not because the same runtime code will always be there.

    And even if it was compiled, it would be easy to tell, because all the core MMF code would still be there.

    I wasn't refering to the intial output of the iPhone runtime. I was talking about the finished app.

    The explination of not being compiled was simply to show the reason for the runtime in the first place. (or core mmf code as you put it)
