    multiplayer online with mooclick?

    ive downloaded an example file of mooclick where u and a buddy controls a smileyface and can send messages to eachother. one player hosts, and the other one joins. this worked well and was fun to try.

    but if you want to create a fully featured game to work in multiplayer with a friend. is there alot more to program? like collisions, events, movement etc etc. or how does it work? and is mooclick the best alternative for this?

    i am currently working on a double dragon"-ish" game which i would love to be able to work in multiplayer.

    You shouldn't use MooCLick. It's old, no longer supported, and doesn't support UDP which is essential for games. Yous should really learn Lacewing, it is a lot better and is being developed right now so you'll be sure to get support.

    Check the Lacewing forum in the Extension Development forum.

    I'm currently working on a strategic RPG which is gonna be multiplayer online game and I'm using MooClick for it.
    There is a new extension called Lacewing, which I've heard has more features than MooClick, but there's no the server extension for it, so you would need to write it in C++ or Python.

    Which would be much more pwerful and faster. Jamie is, as he can get time to, developing the server extension.
