Subapp In Popup Mode?

Is it possible to minimize a popup sub app? with the system menu it just has a close button and i can't find a event editor option for this so is it not available with subapps?

Also i was thinking it would be useful to be able to customize the error message of the sub app if it fails to load the .ccn file. As far as i know this is not possible either but i might be wrong.

You can minimize it with the Sphax Kernel object, and even add a minimize button as well. You might just be aiming ate MDI too but I don't know. (Both of these soulutions are for MMF2 Dev)

Nice, i will get the updater and take a look at this object. Im thinking maybe these should be options as default though but it's good to know there is a way to do it. Thanks for the help

Haven't tried it myself, but reading the help for the Window Object makes it sound like that one should be able to do it too (perhaps a combination of Save focus before calling the subapp, then Make window invisible and Restore Focus?)... Just a thought.

Hmmm i just got the FusionUpdater and tried to run it but i got reminded why i don't like it when extensions are hosted offsite because as soon as it starts Mcafee auto deletes it saying it is a virus. This is really annoying as the Kernel object sounds very useful, sphax if you read this please make them a installer or something rather than needing the updater because i can't even get them, i notice another load of extensions offsite (FVivolo) are now down also.

Thanks RayMarble i will look at that extension, i also thought about using workarounds like hide/show but if possible i want to use the default windows thing.

I think this would be good as default rather than needing workarounds so i made a request here and hopefully people will like the idea -
