    File association application title

When I try to associate a new file type with any MMF2 program (HWA release candidate) its application title doesn't show up in the file association list. I tried to change the application description but that didn't work either. Any idea what does work? And of course the application title is set correctly (I even tried to enter the game title in all other MMF2 dev application info fields)

Maybe try resource hacker and add it in manually? Does this work with Software mode instead of HWA?

    Re: File association application title

Actually, it was the "Description" field that needed to be set. I don't know why it didn't update when I tried to re-associate the file type (I clearly remember that I removed all the references to the program from the registry).

Anyway, problem solved, the solution is to just remember to fill in the application Description field.
