Thread: 32 directions rotation, going from 0 to 31

    32 directions rotation, going from 0 to 31

    I want to rotate an active object from a certain direction towards another one of 1 direction unit clockwise (-1) or counter clockwise (+1) the shortest way. But I encounter the problem of passing from 0 to 31... If I must move of 1 direction from 0 (East) to 7 or 8 (North) I add 1 to current direction value; but if I must move from 0 to something between 17 and 31 I can't add nor subtract: I must have an event to set it manually to 31. And if I start from 1? manually set to 0? from 2 manually set to 1, etc.? I must create events for each direction?

    Use the "Advanced Direction object", with 32 directions, and use it's "Rotate" action.

    That's how I do it.
