I cannot get any sounds to play through MMF2. And trust me, my speakers are on.

I have tried even starting a new app and 'Start of Frame : Play sample IMPACT07'

That sample is a sample from the bonus disc. I have no idea why this won't work. I think something's wrong...

Do other MMF2 applications MFAs or EXEs sounds play? Have you tried retsrating MMF2? I sometimes get an error that MMF2 sound manager failed to start up or something, but that's because my memory is messed up or soemthing.

I restarted mmf2 multiple times.

Old mfas with samples that work no longer play.

I played the sample before inserting, it worked fine.

Exes play as well. (i haven't tried building one yet though)

Do other, non-MMF2-related programs play sounds on your computer?

Ricky, sounds like a computer problem, not MMF.

I can play sounds on every other application. I can play the sounds I chose with any program. I can even play the sounds through the MMF2 sound choosing dialog. But as soon as they are in the mfa and I click Run Application, no matter what the sounds won't play.

How many times have you restarted your computer since this happened?

BTW I wish I had your glitch happen to me - sounds are so annoying.

Once.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling MMF2. I restarted 3 more times. I even disabled my Norton and uninstalled it and installed a new one and ran a scan.

STILL NOTHING.

This might go along with me not being able to run external programs through MMF2 either. I think I have some corruptions somewhere. Anybody know how to fix this??
