Problem sending info with GET object

I was getting ready to release a small product soon which features a brief activation when you first set it up. Right now just sends a string to my server and gets the OK. Which works great except on a friend's comp it doesn't send the query at all. Pretty stumped as to what the problem is, any ideas? Thanks

He's using XP not sure which SP he has.
Would a firewall prevent sending a url out?
I was thinking possibly he was missing some dll or something required to use the get object, but idk...

Do any messages come up when he tries to run your app? Maybe it's some security or something. Also, the app will not run if it can't use something it needs.

He says no messages pop up and it just runs. Just for added info, I did try the old live receiver too. Thanks for the replies.

Maybe his computer/router/modem/ISP is cachine a file that doesn't say OK.

Try sending the data with POST data instead.

Well, it works fine for me too, so I would check some firewall settings on your friend's computer, but it would rather be weird if firewall blocked a thing like this.
Btw, I think you should add "On Get Complete" condition, so it uses less CPU. Of course in it won't really make any diffrence in this one, since it's only 2 events.

Is it the latest version of the Get object?

It wouldn't be weird if the firewall blocked it.. that's what firewalls are meant to do.
