    Re: Graphic Quality

In the animation editor, on the right of the left, there is a button that looks like a fish (<><)
Click that and select alpha channel. Click show and edit. Black is transparent. White is opaque. Anything in between is in between.

How do you make transparency tht is something other than grey tones? It's probably obvious but I dont see it

    Re: Graphic Quality

The tones are all greyscale. You're not filtering out those colours, you're choosing how transparent/where the real image (the one you see when you exit the editor) is. The darker the greyscale pixel on the alpha transparency is, the more transparent it is. White is fully opaque, and black is completly transparent.

    Re: Graphic Quality

The grey tones just represent the level of transparency of the pixels - if you switch back to the actual image (unclick the 'alpha channel' button), then you can apply colour to them as normal.

    !
Unclick the 'show' button, not alpha channel.

    Re: Graphic Quality

Isn't it just possible to produce a semi transparent picture in Photoshop and save it as PNG? That is what I would do.

    Re: Graphic Quality

Of course it is possible. But you can also edit alpha channel after importing PNG into MMF.
