    Sliding Graphics Game

I'm looking to make a quick game where a graphic is broken up into a number of rectangular pieces. The pieces are randomly distributed and then the game consists of moving them or dragging them so they form the original graphic. Does anyone have an example or know the location of an example of how to do this? Any help appreciated.

    nivram,

I used your example to create a game where students have to push the slider around to get a huge equation correct. The only problem was that it was almost impossible. But thanks for the coding example, it worked great and I'm sure I'll find another better use for the ideas.

I ened up using an old drag and drop into slots game that was a lot easier for the kids to accomplish, but actually a lot more work for me to put together.

This discussion inspired me to try my hand at this type of game. I remember playing with these old plastic tile games..lots of fun. Please check it out at the bottom of this page.

    Kungsangun,

Nicely done. Turned out a lot better than the one that I made and didn't use.
