    Cannot create destination jar file

I was able to create java applets before and now I cannot.
It reads "Cannot create destination jar file.

I recently added .net express, downloaded build 249 then restored it to build 248, and added opengl to the extensions.

The same message shows up even if I try to save an application with just 1 active object.

Is there a way to fix this?

I'm having this same problem, all of a sudden. It could be because I'm using VMware and I accidentally changed some settings, but it seems very unlikely that that's the cause.

Reinstalling the JDK might work, so I'm gonna go do that.

Any idea what you changed on your computer between it working and now?

Did you try reinstalling from the CD then upgrading?
Perhaps making sure Java works on your computer also?

I re-installed and now it is working.
Guess it's one of those mysteries not worth pursuing
