Drag window with an active object?

What I need to do is be able to drag the entire window if I click and drag with an active object inside the window. I do not want the active itself to be dragged, but just the window. Is this possible? If so how?

Basically, I want to drag the window as if you were dragging it by the title bar, how you'd normally drag a window, but instead of a title bar, I want to use an active object inside the frame.

Re: Drag window with an active object?

Awesome! I checked out the example and it works great. Just one more question... is there a way to do it without having it snap to the mouse coordinate exactly? Right now, when you drag it, it puts the top left corner of the window at 0,0 of the mouse cursor, regardless of where your mouse is dragging the window from. I'd like to be able to drag it with an object say like in the middle of the window, and have the whole window move while keeping the mouse in the middle of the window. If that makes sense.

Thanks LB, that does exactly what I was looking for

Also, thanks also to drnebula. While it didn't work exactly how I wanted it to, it was a step in the right direction. I had no clue how I should go about doing any of this.

    Thanks guys.
