Active Picture Object transparent colour

Hi Folks.

Is there a way to set the transparent colour of the Active Picture object at runtime? I'm creating a program for a special needs child and in it, it loads a picture onto a background whose colour can be changed. What I want to do is to set the Active Picture Objects transparent colour to that of the background. Is there a way to do this at runtime?

I don't think so. I only use the object with alpha channel images though, so I haven't really had a need for it.
